We ship to locations around the world. We are wherever our customer are. We strive to make our ordering and shipping fair and transparent.
Shipping to a PO Box? No problem. APO/FPO is also OK.
Expedited Christmas Delivery Time
Orders over $150 can be expedited, some orders under that mark may be expedited as well. In these cases we work directly with the warehouse to ensure proper timely delivery. If there is a question or an issue (such as an order that can not be expedited) we will contact you via telephone and if we can't reach you, email. We make every effort to ensure our customer's satisfaction. We ship primarily UPS in these expedited cases.
Normal Delivery Time
We ship complete, that's our policy. That way you always get your full order. Delivery time will vary depending on the order. What if an item is not available? We'll contact you to correct the order. Typically we ship within 4 business days. We will update you with order status and estimated arrival dates throughout the process. Once you have placed an order you can also check the order status dashboard (under my account), or if ordering through Google Checkout check the Google Checkout page where the order status will be available.
Shipping Costs
Fountain Pen Heaven uses flat rate shipping. We find this makes it easy for our customers. We try and make our shipping cost crystal clear so the mystery of how much will this really cost is entirely dispelled.
Occaisionally Fountain Pen Heaven runs free shipping specials on qualified purchases. If your order qualifies for this, the flat rate shipping rate will not be shown.
The customer may be offered expedited shipping options during the checkout process. In that case shipping costs for orders from Fountain Pen Heaven depend upon the shipping method chosen. We group items into as few shipments as possible, so shipping charges are generally low. Most shipping rates are weight-based. Based on shipping company policies, weights may need to be be rounded up to the next full pound. Shipping cost are available in the checkout process, but can be estimated earlier via the shopping cart.
Canadian Shipping
We do not charge an extra fee for international shipments. We ship First Class International. This class of service does not offer an explicit service level agreement, however, based on our experience packages typically takes 12-14 days to most Canadian addresses. Other classes of service are:
- Priority International (service level agreement: 6-10 days cost: additional $12USD) and
- Express International (service level agreement: 5 days additional $20USD).
If you wish to change your shipping method we can typically issue an electronic invoice for the shipping differential.
International Shipping (except Canada)
We do not charge an extra fee for international shipments. We ship First Class International. This class of service does not offer an explicit service level agreement, however, based on our experience packages typically takes 12-16 business days to most addresses.
- Priority International (service level agreement: 6-10 days cost: additional $22USD) and
- Express International (service level agreement: 5 days additional $27USD).
Return Policy
We can cancel an order and issue a full refund if canceled before the shipping process begins. This usually occurs within 12 hours of the order.
