The Visconti Homo Sapiens in certainly the most innovative exciting new pen of 2010. Visconti has used an ancient material, lava, to make a brand new pen.
Lava from Mt. Etna, Europe's largest active volcano, is combined with resin to create a pen that has a unique feel in the hand. The pen is slightly hydroscopic (absorbent), uniquely textured. This pen feels like no other. It also writes like no other thanks to the 23 carat Palladium nib. Built to last, all hardware on the pen is pure bronze which is also an attractive contrast to the base color.
Visconti tried to create a true writers pen. The pen is solid, attractive and writes like a dream - day in day out, year in year out.
